You can synchronize data between the Windows and Android versions of TrackChecker. Data transfer is performed by exporting to XML from one version and importing into the other.
- To transfer all tracks displayed on the screen from the Android version, open the "Import & Export" menu and select "Export" (the track list is managed by the filter: "All", "Active", "At Delivery", etc.).
- To export specific tracks, select them in multi-selection mode, then also choose "Import & Export" from the menu.
- Specify the location and name for the export file.
- A file with the specified name will appear in the specified folder.
- Copy the file to your computer
- Open the PC version of TrackChecker.
- Use the import from XML function (Menu - Tracks - Export/Import - Import tracks from XML) to add the data to the program database.
The reverse operation is performed in a similar way:
- Export your tracks to an XML file from the desktop version (all or selected ones).
- Place the file in a folder on your device.
- Perform an "Import" in the Android app.
Another way to transfer tracks from the desktop version to the mobile version:
- Select the tracks you want to export in the desktop version of the program.
- In the menu, select: "Tracks" - "Export/Import" - "Export tracks to XML".
- Transfer the resulting export file (with the .tctracks extension) to your mobile device. You can use Google Drive or Dropbox for this.
- On your mobile device, tap the export file in the file manager or the app previously used for the transfer (Google Drive / Dropbox).
- From the list of suggested apps, select TrackChecker Mobile.
- Select the tracks you want to import or tap "Import All".
